All Cannings Community Shop is currently closed for demolition and rebuild.
We are expecting a grand re-opening in May 2026.

On December 10th 2025, we announced the exciting news that we have raised the £280,000 needed to build a new shop.
Our new shop will be of timber construction with better storage space and disabled access.
We look forward to re-opening at the beginning of May.

We rely heavily on the support of our amazing team of volunteers who generously offer their time to serve customers and maintain the building. We are always looking for people to join the team – both on the shop floor and behind the scenes. It’s a great way to meet people and keep in touch with what is going on.
