Volunteers BBQ
A BBQ was held in the Village Hall garden on Friday 27th August 2021 to say thank you to our volunteers who sustained the shop through challenging times in 2020 and 2021.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - 21st July 2021 ________________________________________________
§ The meeting received the Accounts for 2020 and the Chairperson’s report on activity over the last 18 months. Elections to the committee also took place.
§ A proposal from the committee to supplement the model rules for holding shareholder meetings was agreed. A copy is available from the Secretary.

Outcome of Special General Meeting held on 2nd June 2021

This meeting was held to reconsider the decision taken at the meeting on 28th April, which voted to give notice to Moo2Yoo, the owners of the Milk Hut at the shop.
The following motion was put forward by fifteen shareholder signatories:
To rescind the resolution made at the Special General Meeting held on Wednesday 28th April, namely:
“That the Society shall cease its relation to Moo2Yoo as soon as is contractually possible.”
Voting took place by postal vote and by a poll of those attending the meeting.
The motion was carried convincingly with 83 voting in favour and 34 voting against.
Therefore, the Milk Hut will continue in operation next to the shop.
